CONSHOHOCKEN, PA (January 3, 2007) — Take Care Health Systems, a leading independent operator of convenient care clinics, today announced that former Aetna Southeast and Northeast Healthcare Delivery President Dr. Charles "Chuck" Peck has joined its senior management team as the company's Chief Medical Officer, effective immediately. Dr. Peck will report directly to Peter Miller, President and CEO, and will work alongside Chief Nurse Practitioner Officer Sandra Ryan coordinating the company's medical practice.

Dr. Peck's extensive background in diverse areas of the healthcare industry will drive Take Care Health's integration with the established medical community. He will lead key quality initiatives to develop programs, ensuring the highest quality of care at the convenient care clinics, and outcomes reporting that will demonstrate the value of the Take Care Health model, which provides high quality, accessible and affordable health care, to the public and key stakeholders. Dr. Peck will also help develop future service offerings and drive the overall strategic direction for Take Care Health's quality program.

Dr. Peck joins Take Care Health from Aetna, where he was President of Healthcare Delivery in the Southeast and Northeast regions and responsible for patient management, quality management, networks, provider relationships, medical cost management and clinical programs. Prior to Aetna, Dr. Peck was a partner within Arthur Andersen's health care consulting practice, leading the firm's clinical and health care strategy consulting efforts for U.S. clients as well as those from the Far East, Bermuda and Puerto Rico. Earlier in his career, Dr. Peck was a practicing internist and rheumatologist for 12 years, during which time he served as president of a 150 physician multi-specialty Independent Practice Association in Cleveland, Ohio.
